IMMIFLEX® Capsules (Adult): Strengthens and Enhances the Immune System
What is Immiflex®?
Immiflex contains 1, 3/1, 6 beta glucan (patented as Wellmune WGP) that has a natural priming effect on the innate Immune system, the body’s first line of defence against infection. The type of beta glucan found in Immiflex® is derived from the cell wall of Baker’s yeast and has been shown highly effective at optimizing immune function in studies.
Why choose Immiflex®?
NOT all beta glucan products have the same biological effects. The molecule structure of Wellumne WGP, with its specific beta 1, 3/1, 6 branch points and patented refinement process, is responsible for its unique biological activity.This beta glucan, which is the most active and best-documented, is combined with Vitamin D in Immiflex® to provide well – rounded daily support for immune function. Widely regarded research into Vitamin D shows its crucial role in immune function with beneficial association in the prevention of colds in immune function with beneficial associations in the prevention of colds and flu, various cancers and auto-immune disease.
What about our Immune Systems?
When we are born we have an active innate immune system and an inactive acquired immune system. The acquired immune system develops as we are exposed to various immune challenges and provides the specific “memory “of our immune system. However, the innate immune cells acts as our front line of defence to recognise and destroy the majority of intruders that can cause infection.
As this front-line system evolved, it became very adept at killing yeast and fungi by recognising molecules that commonly occur on the cell surface of these challenges. The 1, 3/1, 6 beta glucan in immiFlex® is one such recognition molecule that on priming innate immune cells supports a rapid and effective immune response.
Why supplement?
Life in over-sanitised modern societies has seen a significant decline in our once high dietary consumption of beta glucan. Changes in the traditional production of wine, beer and bread as well as wide-spread fungicide use have removed much of the beta glucan from our diet.
What About yeast?
An important factor in the production process of Wellmune WGP, the active ingredient in ImmiFlex®, is that the protein elements of the cell (which may trigger yeast sensitivity in some people) are removed. This leaves just the active beta glucan. This is one of the factors that sets ImmiFlex apart from most other beta glucan products. So there are no grounds for concern if you are worried about candida.

What About Children?
ImmiFlex® is suitable for children. The only problem may be getting them to swallow the capsules. There is no harm in breaking the capsule and sprinkling the powder on food if the capsule proves difficult to swallow.

(Adult 250mg Wellmune WGP® Beta 1, 3/1, 6 Gluco Polysaccharides (min-80%-natural derived from Saccharonmyces Cerevisiae) + 25?g Vitamin D3 (500% RDA*)
(Children 100mg Wellmune WGP® Beta 1, 3/1, 6 Gluco Polysaccharides (min-80%-natural derived from Saccharonmyces Cerevisiae) + 10?g Vitamin D3 (200% RDA*). Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (capsule shell), Inulin, Tri-calcium Phosphate, Vitamin D3 prep (Sucrose, Gelatin Hydroyzed, Corn Starch, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Vit-D3, di-alpha Tocopherol)

Interactions:
Generally, it’s safe to take ImmiFlex® with other medication and supplement. If you have any concern however, it is best to seek medical advice.
Contra-Indications:
Most people will derive benefit from ImmiFlex® but there are some exceptions. ImmiFlex®is not suitable for anyone who has undergone an organ transplant .The same will apply to anyone who treated to suppress their immune system.
Safety
1, 3/1, 6 beta glucan are non-toxic and non-allergenic. Due to the patented refinement process they are suitable for daily use even by those with a previous history of yeast intolerance. Research in scientific journals demonstrates an excellent safety profile with no significant adverse effects reported.
